Software Package for the Calculation of Nonmetallic Inclusions in a Liquid Metal during Its Deoxidation, Cooling, and Solidification
Abstract
Software for forecast of composition and total mass of nonmetallic inclusions, which precipitate during treatment of melt, casting and solidification, is shown. The inclusions characteristics computation block is the base of the software. Model of elements repartition between metal and nonmetallic phases of all types is the main part of it. The repartition is realized in direction from initial non-equilibrium state (it gets from the block outside) to equilibrium state. Every time after getting new parameters (which can be different from current ones owing to changes in metal-slag-gas system) the metal-inclusions system is isolated and the elements repartition is realized for these new conditions. The microsegregation is taken into account for computation of inclusions during solidification. [Rus.]
